Our Story Clayora, a local brand from Trivandrum, Kerala, was born out of a deep love and passion for ceramics,blending the soul of traditional Indian craftsmanship with the elegance of modern, minimalist design.
Our journey began in 2021, when, as a couple, we were setting up our dream home in Trivandrum. Alfa, co-founder of Clayora, realized that aesthetically designed kitchenware like plates, bowls, and jars was missing from the market. She shared this concern with Niyadh, the other co-founder of Clayora.
By a twist of fate, one of Niyadh’s close friends,a fellow MBA student from Cardiff, London,came from a Jaipur family renowned for their heritage craft of blue pottery. The family was going through a financial crisis, and the couple extended their support, acquiring major shares in the business. This partnership opened the doors to unique, handcrafted ceramics that carried generations of artistry.
Today, every piece we make,whether a mug, a planter, or a decorative jar is crafted with care, fired multiple times for strength, and finished to perfection. From our base in Trivandrum, we distribute across India, bringing timeless ceramic artistry to homes, boutiques, and wholesalers alike.
